An organization such as Grassroutes is defined by the people who champion it and celebrate the cause it has been founded for. At Grassroutes we have a firebrand team of believers, who have chosen to commit themselves to the vision of Grassroutes: to build the bridge between the urban and the rural dwellers.

Inir Pinheiro,Heads Institutional linkages and Finances

Inir has hands-on experience in the areas of fundraising and resource mobilization: two most critical aspects of any humane organization seeking to drive change at root level. A great believer in dreams, he started out on his career path with Greenpeace. His passion lies in working with people, especially the youngsters and at Grassroutes he seeks to make a difference by helping this section of the population plug into a life, they do not know to exist.

John Nogueira, Heads Marketing and Training

With over 16 years of work experience ranging from Employee Engagement, Customer Service, Training & Development, Project Management and Sales & Marketing, John brings experience, professionalism and suave to Grassroutes. He loves working with the youth on different aspects of life. His other passions being talking and hosting, John Nogueira is a very sort after Compere and Master of Ceremonies. “Its easy to be cynical, But I want to be a part of the change I want to see.” believes John.

Nickolai Kinny, Heads Communications , Media and Internet

Nickolai is a graduate in tourism studies and is currently studying masters in tourism management.Apart from handling travel- content writing , photographing and tour managing for grassroutes she likes to wander of every  chance she gets.. Backpacking and on a constant wanderlust.Her motto stand as “have feet will travel and have heart will feel “.Her blog adventures of a tiny lady contains most of her travel escapades and she’s also a published writer whos poetic works can be seen her book “Kieran”.

A young national level hockey player, Darren Lobo has an amazing knack for working with blank sheets, his amazing energy levels, coupled with his confidence and willingness to make mistakes, makes Darren a pillar of the Grassroutes team. A die hard fan of Lance Amstrong, Darren believes in “living strong”. As a youth growing up in India, Darren has developed a high sensitivity towards sustainability, local communities and prefers to seek out the ‘story untold’.
